Heading off to the airport in a few hours for the ride on the big silver bird to California. Checked out the weather and its going to be a cool 16C for a high and 3C for the low. Considering it is a pleasant 73F this early morning with a high in the 80s in the big mango, its going to be a shock to my system. If it wasn't for the necessity of having to go back, hibernating here in the LOS for the rest of the winter is the thing to do. I do have a closet full of heavy winter coats, sweaters, and other necessities in California, but going from wearing short sleeves, Tee shirts, and shorts to being bundled up like the Michelin man is not going be a pleasant transition.
Yes, the LOS makes a wimp out of you. Complaining of cold weather when it drops below 80F and having all the personal services like a maid and all won't get me any sympathy. I'm a wimp but I like it that way...555
Anyway, it will be a good time to get some bargain shopping done and get a 'bland' break from the spicy life we enjoy so much here in the mango. Makes coming back that much more exciting in a few weeks.

I agree 100%. We Californians in the Bay Area are wimps too...555
At least I am not going back to the midwest right now..they are really freezing their butts off now.
