Could have gone out tonight to the same party I go to each year at a friend's house, but tonight I decided it was better to stay in and not get everyone else sick by being there. I believe I am still in the contagious stage and I don't want anyone else to get what I got as a New Year present. So its New Year's eve alone in California when I should be home in the LOS celebrating at the farm. Called B this morning and they were all having fun eating and shooting off fireworks - made me that much more homesick for the LOS too.
Its was already 2012 in the LOS so I asked her if it was a good year..and her answer was a great year! So we all have something to look for as the world did not come to an end as predicted (yet) and we will all cross over into the new year in one piece.
Tomorrow, I will post my annual new year resolutions and review the ones I made in previous years. Gosh, a blog can make an honest liar out of us when we begin to put our resolution down in writing and have to bring them up each year to see how we did......
