Got 15 minutes?

This is a very concentrated synopsis of the impact that fiat currency is having on the world as we know it today.  Its one of the clearest and most concise explanations I've heard in a while.  It may be the best and most important 15 minutes of your financial life.

The next world war isn't just a war of conventional weapons, but a war of who controls the currency and financial power of the planet.

Tomorrow, its off to Hua Hin for a couple of days.  Got a free room at the Hyatt Regency thanks to a credit car that Super Glenn recommended a few years back.  Gotta enjoy life before austerity sets in right?

  1. I love reading your blog. I've done it for years. I wish you and your family all the best.
Have you really gotten to the point where you believe that crap in the video and you hold it out to be the truth?
Conspiracy theories pushed by a company that sells gold. You can't believe that.
I guess it takes all kinds to make a market.

  2. Anon,
First of all, thanks for being a regular reader of this blog and the well wishes for the family. Its good to know that there are really people out there that take an interest to my rambling at times. Not easy to put out content on a regular basis without some feedback as motivation.

Regarding the video, the gold company that is highlighted in the beginning is not the ones financing the website. As for the content of the video, facts are what changes 'theories' to the truth. Unfortunately many people don't take the time to do due diligence on what the government and the main stream media is reporting or they simply don't care. Don't believe anything anyone tells you, do your own research with an open and objective mind. You will be surprised at what you thought you knew and more especially, what was not reported to you accurately.

I've been a gold bug for more than 10 years and bought when it was $600 bucks an ounce and also when it was at $1500 an ounce too, so the gold companies don't really influence me that much. I've also been posting about the dangers of fiat currency and our position as the world's reserve currency for years as well so these are not new topics to me. I would wager that most people have no idea of what fiat currency is and how it is related to today's world reserve currency. Yet most people would blindly let a bank hold on to their life savings without a second thought.

What also bothers me more is how deceitful and corrupt our government has become and where it is heading financially. I'm not a bright guy, but even I know there is no way that the government will ever be able to repay the $17 Trillion (and growing) debt we have. When things go boom, and it will at some point, what then?

I am a reluctant prepper. I don't want to prepare for the worse, but I cannot depend on a government that has lied and sold us out so many times before. I have a responsibility to myself and my daughter's future to be sure things are safe. To do otherwise, is foolish in my view so thus I prepare like a good boy scout.

One last fact to take away. There has never been a fiat currency or reserve currency that has survived over time. Not one.

Tell me what you are thinking or upset about!
